Dr. G. F. Still observed that in the extremely interesting paper read by Dr. Bruce Low on Epidemic Cerebrospinal Meningitis, allusion was made to the disease of infants which was known by the name of " Simple Posterior Basic Meningitis," or " Chronic Basilar Meningitis." The data were not yet sufficient to allow of any dogmatic statement being made as to the relation of this form of meningitis to the epidemic disease, but there were, Dr. Still thought, sufficient grounds for at least raising the question of possible identity.
